This little EP took almost a year and half to complete lol. Working on it on and off. Some months I would just open up the project files and then close it. There was a lot of pressure for some vague higher standard that I started to put on myself. I was trying to live up to a viral hit that I didn't even have control over in the first place.

It's been almost a year of doing music full-time and I've learned a lot. I learned that it's hard lol. What started to bring me back to down to solid ground was when I started going around LA and attending local beat shows. Participating in open aux's. Meeting new people, seeing the spark of creativity effortlessly flow out of artists I would meet. It really reinvigorated my spirit. It brought me out of that creative slump. I realized how imaginary a lot of that pressure was. I'm constantly reminded how much all this is a journey with no real ending. And there's really something beautiful in that. There's so much to make and so much to savor when take a step back.

The "narrative" of this EP follows that theme. The titles and tracklist are meant to convey that journey and what it means to endure as an artist.

Special thanks to tributary.vhs for basically writing the skeleton for "Rebirth". I feel like I just came in for the lay-up honestly haha.

And a special shout-out to draf2k, "Fallen" came out of a fun session after buying of draf's drumkits and playing around with all the 808s that were in it, that song wouldn't exist without me buying that kit haha.
